Alison is the founder and owner. She started Grace Flowers Hawaii in 2012 from an extensive background in floral and horticulture. Born and raised in Hawaii, she has been designing flowers professionally since she was 13 (that's not counting the lei sold by the side of the road starting at age 9...we don't talk about that). She started working as a florist at one of the Kohala coast resorts and ended up managing that flower shop, which instilled the desire to operate a shop of her own. 10 years later here we are!
Having moved from the mainland (Seattle) to Hawaii a few years ago, Nicole brings over 15 years of floral design experience from a wide variety of flower shops, studio florists and a floral wholesaler specializing in working with local farms and growers. At Grace Flowers Hawaii, she is one of the managers as well as the media coordinator. Her passions (better known as obsessions) are floral art, ferns and moss and learning about new flowers and foliages.

Born and raised on the Big Island, Kamaehu is our shop's assistant manager. He had a very early start in making lei and lei po'o, with his grandmother as his biggest influence. Flowers and plants have always been a large part of his life. Here at Grace Flowers Hawaii he wears many hats including floral design, lei as well as wedding set up.
Shannon is a longtime member of the Grace Flowers Hawaii family (and Alison's sister). Born and raised on the Big Island, she is our designated head lei maker. She grows and orders plants, we sell them here at the shop! She is beyond happy to work with her children and darling grandaughters too. She is grateful for our amazing staff and customers.
Last but definitely not least is Alison's father, Mike who handles most of the construction projects which includes everything from new arches to tiered centerpieces vessels to farm tables. Besides those projects he also spends his afternoons chasing Alison's little nieces around the shop.
